Cong-Er Ge formation cannot be 'close enough' — it has three hard criteria. Output dominance, Day Master rootless, and Wealth star bridge. All three must be satisfied for a genuine Cong-Er Ge.

1. Output Dominance — The First Hard Criterion

2. Day Master Rootless and Wealth Star Bridge
The Day Master must be completely rootless — not even residual qi in the hidden stems counts. A single trace of root qi makes it a false Cong-Er Ge. The Wealth star appears to bridge the Output — Output generates Wealth, giving the Cong-Er Ge a value outlet. Without a Wealth star, the Cong-Er Ge's talent has no monetization channel.
