Your original chart has already written down every major life event — marriage, wealth, loss, illness, promotion. The year pillar's job isn't rewriting the script. Three timing laws: arrival (original character appears in the year), merge-clash (merged things clashed open = release, clashed things merged = relief), vault (entering vault = new phase, exiting vault = leaving old phase). 2. Reading method one: is the work complete?

Original chart has a work structure — say, Eating God suppressing Killing. The year boosts the suppressing side until the suppressed side is thoroughly finished. Work complete year. Big fortune. Reverse: the year boosts the suppressed side. Suppression fails. Counter-strike year. Big trouble. Merged-things-clashed-open year — married people: marriage turbulence likely. Unmarried: may actually be the wedding year — the merge broken means single status broken. Clashed-things-merged year — feuding partners reconcile.

When timing arrives, behavior patterns shift. What's coming can't be stopped. Understanding timing reduces the confusion of 'why this year.'

Health

Years where the day master's root enters vault require special body care. Years where Salary is clashed by the year pillar: overwork and injury risk. Vault-opening years: energy swings wildly. Extreme joy and extreme grief both tax the body.

Check which year they arrive or get opened. It's not that good things aren't coming. They just haven't reached their screening time yet.
Watch for Salary-enters-vault years : Pre-check the day master's vault: Jia-Yi Wood sees Wei. Bing-Ding Fire sees Xu. Wu-Ji Earth sees Xu. Geng-Xin Metal sees Chou. Ren-Gui Water sees Chen. When the year walks into this branch, prioritize defense. Don't advance aggressively.

Q: Why do some years have nothing happen?
